India Space Week Event is being organized by India Space Week (Nodal Centre ISRO) from 12.08.2023 to 18.08.2023. The purpose of which is to permanently establish Dr. Vikram Sarabhai (Great Space Scientist) in the hearts of the youth/students of our country, who established the first space science institute like ISRO in India. India Space Week In its ambitious campaign, every year as an active effort to make the valuable contribution of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai in the field of space science in India unforgettable and to reach the contribution of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai among the general public and students, every year Dr. Vikram Sarabhai From August 12 to 18, on the birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, programs related to space science are being organized. In which there will be participation of students as well as school colleges and general public, for which about 80,000 students of about 750 schools and colleges affiliated to India Space Week will actively participate in various programs of space education throughout the week. During this, the latest information related to space science was disseminated to DRDO through educational sessions. And it will also be provided with the help of learned scientists of ISRO.
In this sequence, programs like Space Awareness, Space Fashion Show / Space Costume Program, Drawing and Painting Competition, Speech-Discussion Competition, Essay Writing Competition, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Interaction with Scientist will be organized on different days throughout the week. The said program is related to space science and is being organized in the memory of the father of ISRO, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.
