The EAE is a geospatial tool, which hosts data on electricity supply, renewable energy potential, health, education and livelihood indicators, among others. The Digital Public Goods Alliance and the United Nations recently promoted the EAE as a Digital Public Good (DPG) towards the UN Secretary General’s Roadmap for Digital Cooperation. The tool is the first ever officially registered Digital Public Good with a special focus on energy access and sustainable energy transitions
The data will be jointly managed by WRI India and MIRSAC.
